The Mountain Hostel Schladming-Dachstein consists of two harmoniously connected buildings — the main house and the annex — along with a spacious outdoor area. Together, they form a versatile holiday and training center that goes far beyond simple accommodation.

The main building is home to the central reception, a spacious lobby, the dining hall, and several seminar and common rooms. Floor-to-ceiling windows open up a wide panoramic view of the Planai, while cozy seating areas invite guests to enjoy game nights or movie evenings together.

Billiards and table football add a lively atmosphere — even on rainy days. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire building, and those seeking peace and quiet will find relaxing corners on the upper floors or balconies with morning sun.

Early risers can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet with regional products, while snacks and hot drinks are available around the clock in the lobby. For longer stays or camps, the team also offers half board on request. At the same time, the guest kitchen remains accessible, allowing self-catering guests to prepare their own meals anytime.

In summer, the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard unlocks more than 100 free attractions — from complimentary mountain lift rides to rafting discounts. In winter, the Ramsau Wintercard provides reduced cross-country skiing tickets and discounted Dachstein glacier ski access.

A solar thermal system supports hot water production, and waste separation is consistently implemented. Guests arriving by public transport can use the RVB bus from Schladming — with a stop just a few minutes’ walk from the property. Free parking is available for cars and buses on site.
