For speed lovers, the summer toboggan run OCT Xraycer guarantees fun and adrenaline with discounted entry. If you're looking for the ultimate thrill, paragliding offers a unique feeling of freedom in the air — always guided by professionals and available at a reduced rate for guest card holders.

On the ground, things stay just as exciting: mountain go-karting delivers action-packed “jump & drive” experiences, also with discounts included. Our hostel is located in the heart of this region in Ramsau am Dachstein. Thanks to a short bus connection to Schladming, you can easily enjoy the lively atmosphere of the town while staying on a budget-friendly base.

Ramsau is considered a cross-country skiing paradise of the Alps. Right outside the hostel, perfectly groomed trails begin, while advanced skiers can challenge themselves on world-cup tracks. Due to the altitude (1,100–1,700 m), snow reliability is high — even in March you can still glide through winter landscapes.

Skiing and snowboarding are just a short distance away, including access to the famous “4-mountain ski circuit” (Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen, Reiteralm). With over 123 km of slopes, modern lifts, and traditional mountain huts, the region offers everything a winter sports lover needs.

For families and relaxed skiers, nearby areas like Rittisberg or the Dachstein Glacier provide gentler terrain and stunning views. After a day on the slopes, you can store your equipment in a heated ski room and relax in our sauna — combining hostel pricing with hotel-level comfort.
